How well do you really know your neighbor?
In today's day and age there is so much technology that makes us feel connected with one another. We pass each other in grocery store aisles, sit bumper-to-bumper in traffic, and exchange quick pleasantries while walking the dog. Although, can you when was the last time you had a real conversation with these people?
Longmont Community Foundation presents a new documentary series that digs deeper into the stories of our neighbors – beyond the casual "Hello" or "How are you?" Local Lives offers an intimate glimpse into the lives of those we see every day but may not truly know. This series brings us back to real human connections and reminds us of the remarkable people in our own community
LOCAL LIVES is a collection of stories from our neighbors in the community, assembled into a documentary series that paints small, framed portraits of their lives and experiences. These stories are personal, powerful, and pertinent – human stories – and they all come from right next door!
You can watch the first two episodes of Local Lives on LCF's website at https://longmontfoundation.org/locallives.
